Front Page: The Queen visits Whitechapel Bell Foundry
On Wednesday March 25th, Her Majesty the Queen and His Royal Highness the Duke of Edinburgh visited the Whitechapel Bell Foundry. The visit formed partof a tour of three manufacturing companies based in the East End of London, and the main purpose of the visit was to meet all the staff while they were working. The last Royal vist to the bell foundry was 90 years ago, by King George V and Queen Mary, to witness the casting of two bells for Westminster Abbey. Kids in charge at Kineton
The first Warwickshire Young Ringers’ Event was held on Saturday, 20th March at The Harry Windsor Ringing Centre at St Peter’s Church, Kineton. Graham Nabb assembled no less than 16 young ringers from across the county, from Stratford to Cubbington, to meet up for the first time, ring together and learn some new skills.
