Subscribing to The Ringing World

We now accept payment for subscriptions via Direct Debit.

Currently this is available to UK annual subscribers only and Direct Debits can only be raised against UK bank accounts (and some building society accounts).

Once you have created a Direct Debit, we will renew your subscription automatically each year until you ask us to stop.

Please read the following before proceeding:

• Direct Debits are processed on our behalf by RSM2000 Ltd. You will be redirected to their secure website to complete the necessary form and they hold the data securely for us.
• If your account requires more than one signatory for this kind of transaction, you will need to complete this paper mandate form instead, and post it to us for processing. (PDF: if you cannot print PDF forms, we can send you a copy). Please read the note at the bottom of this page first.
• Debits are raised on (or immediately after) the 15th of the month. We take the debit in the first month of your subscription year. So if your subscription is to run from January to December, the appropriate date is 15th January.
• It takes a minimum of three weeks between submitting a completed mandate form and the first possible debit date. Please take this into account when completing the mandate. If you are renewing a subscription, you need to set up the direct debit by about one week before your subscription expires. Renewals

Provided your mandate is processed in time for the 15th of the first month — which means submitting it by a week before the end of the last month of your old subscription period — your subscription will continue unbroken.

If you leave it until after that, we will stop sending the paper and restart your subscription from the month in which the debit falls due. You can have the issues to cover the one-month "gap" for a special price of £1 per issue (£2 for the Christmas double issue) by sending us a cheque (or BACS transfer) for £4 or £5 as appropriate.

Special offer for new subscribers: 13 months for the price of 12.

For new subscribers only, we will start your subscription with the month your debit falls due, and send you the previous month's issues free. If your debit date is 15th January, we will send you the December issues free and start your subscription from January.

Paper mandate forms

The paper form, which is laid out according to guidelines set by the Banks, does not have a space for your own address. Please make sure you include a covering letter giving this information, as otherwise we may find it rather difficult to deliver your copy.
