This Guild has the utmost confidence in all the 2007 Guild Officers, and thanks them for their efforts.

Changes to the Guild Rules
1. Proposed by Mary Stephens
and seconded by Jenny Loxston

Rule 1 change to:
The Guild shall be known as the Southwell and Nottingham Diocesan Guild of Church Bell Ringers.
Rule 2 The first sentence of rule 2 to read:
"It shall aim to be of service to the Church in the Diocese of Southwell and Nottingham ('The Diocese') by:"
Rule 14 change first sentence to:
The Fund shall be known as the Southwell and Nottingham Diocesan Guild of Church Bell Ringers Bell Fund and registered as a charity.
In Rules 4(D), 4(E) and 14 second sentence and The Guild Library Terms of Reference Number 2 replace the words 'Diocese of Southwell' by 'Diocese'.

The first sentence of rule 2 to read: "It shall aim to be of service to the Church in the Diocese of Southwell & Nottingham ('The Diocese') by:"
The second sentence of Rule 14 to read: "It shall exist to assist the Church within the Diocese of Southwell & Nottingham in:"
In all other cases, replace the words 'Diocese of Southwell' by 'Diocese'. (viz: rule 4 (three times), rule 14 and Library rule 2)

The third sentence of Rule 15 to read: "Notices of such alterations and the date and place of the Guild meeting at which they are to be proposed shall be published in the printed version of 'The Ringing World', at least one calendar month before the meeting date and the text of such alterations to be published on the Guild website."
